The use of additional materials in the bags serves to save weight and mainly to stiffen the bag so that it does not collapse. It is needed to reinforce the bag in the back area and is used as an inside pocket. The irregular grain of this leather as well as the possible abrasion of the colour are not a defect of the product, but a guarantee for the authenticity of the finely polished leather and the vegetable tanning. Surfaces that are frequently touched and/or rubbed against clothing when worn become really polished. These signs of wear that develop over time are part of the normal appearance of open-pored leather and support the creation of an absolutely individual companion.
