Each wallet is unique, therefore the photos (colour and leather structure) may differ in nuances from the delivered goods! The irregular grain as well as the possible abrasion of the colour, which occur with this high-quality leather, are not a defect of the product, but a guarantee for the authenticity of the finely polished leather and the vegetable tanning. Traces of use, such as scratches, which are also present on brand-new purses, are part of the "look" and in no way constitute a defect.
Our advice on open-pore leather:
Leather is tanned animal skin. It is a natural product of unmistakable beauty with all its typical irregularities due to scars and pigment defects. Each piece has its own unmistakable identity. It is typical for these leathers to show signs of use or patina after a short time. This is a desired effect, which is why we recommend not applying any care products at the beginning. The leathers are hand-oiled and/or waxed and thus have sufficient protection. A line with the fingernail immediately causes a light line, which only disappears somewhat by polishing. Surfaces that are frequently touched and/or rubbed against clothing are literally polished and quickly develop a patina. These traces of use that develop over time are part of the normal appearance of open-pored leather and support the creation of an absolutely individual companion.
