The use of additional materials in the bags is to save weight and mainly to stiffen the bag so that it does not collapse. It is needed to reinforce the bag in the back area and is used as an inside pocket. The irregular grain of this leather as well as the possible abrasion of the colour are not a defect of the product, but a guarantee for the authenticity of the finely polished leather and the vegetable tanning.
